Charter of an SPI Cadet

Aim of a Cadet : To be a GOOD military leader in the FASTEST time frame by FAIR and SQUARE means.

Rules and Regulation : While in SPI, cadets are subject to certain rules and regulations. Few of the important ones are highlighted in this section for your information. As discipline is very important, it is recommended that the cadet be advised to strictly follow these rules during her stay at the SPI to ensure fruitful and productive training. The under mentioned do’s and don’ts must be observed.

Do's

Do be punctual for at activities like PT, games, classes, parades, mess etc.
Do be smartly dressed at all times for all activities in the prescribed dress code.
Do keep all your personal possessions neat and tidy at all time.
Do be courteous to your seniors and superiors at the SPI.
Do maintain the highest standard of honesty and integrity.

Don'ts

Do not leave the SPI premises without proper permission.
Do not involve in smoking, drinking alcohol and consuming drugs, or have any such items in your possession.
Do not keep excess cash, jewelery, cell phones, any electronic or electrical appliances.
Do not possess any personal weapons, like guns, firearms knife etc.
Do not get tattoo on your body.

It would help your daughter to settle down, if she practices the following simple activities before joining.

Stitching of buttons and minor repairing of clothes.
Polishing shoes (leather and canvas).
Washing under garments, socks and handkerchief
Making bed.
Keeping clothes and personal effects neatly in the cupboard. Keeping track of all personal possessions.
Making a dhobi list and checking returns accurately.
Filling bank withdrawal form and maintaining pocket money account
Labeling possessions for identification.
